The Development of the Physics Problem-Solving Ability on the Topic of Momentum and Collisions for Mathayom Suksa 4 Students by Using Heller and Heller’s Logical Problem-Solving Strategy

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research was to develop Mattayomsuksa 4 students’ Physics problem-solving ability of “Momentum and Collisions” in order to pass the criterion of 70 percent of the full score using Heller and Heller's logical problem-solving strategy. The target group was 22 students of Mattayomsuksa 4 students. The tools used in the study included 1) 6 lesson plans on the subject of “Momentum and Collisions” based on Heller and Heller's logical problem-solving strategy, 2) a problem-solving ability test on the Physics subject of “Momentum and Collisions", 3) a students’ behavior observation form in Physics problem-solving, and 4) a student interview form. The data were analyzed by using mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The results of classroom action research revealed that: In cycle 1, there were 13 students passed their criteria of 70% of the full score and in cycle 2, there were 21 students passed their criteria of 70% of the full score.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ เรื่อง โมเมนตัมและการชน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม โดยใช้กลวิธีแก้โจทย์ปัญหาเชิงตรรกะของเฮลเลอร์และเฮลเลอร์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 22 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกลวิธีแก้โจทย์ปัญหาเชิงตรรกะของเฮลและเฮลเลอร์ เรื่อง โมเมนตัมและการชน จำนวน 6 แผน 2) แบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ เรื่อง โมเมนตัมและการชน 3) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาฟิสิกส์ และ 4) แบบสัมภาษณ์นักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 13 คน และในวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 2 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 21 คน
