Development of Problem – Solving Ability in Mathematic for Mathayomsuksa 4 Students by Using Inquiry Approach Learning Management with Cooperative Problem Solving Thinking Skill Package in the Topic of Probability

Abstract

The purpose of this action research was to develop the mathematic problem – solving for Mathayomsuksa 4 students by using inquiry – based learning and cooperative problem – solving learning package to higher score than 70 percent of the full score. The target group of this research was 18 Mathayomsuksa 4 in the second semester of 2019 academic year from Phadungnaree school. The instruments were 10 lesson plan of inquiry approach learning management with cooperative problem solving thinking skill package in the topic of probability, cooperative problem solving thinking skill package in the topic of probability, 3 set of mathematical problem – solving test, the interview form, the Mathematics problem –solving behavior observation form, The data was analyzed by using mean, percentage and standard deviation.

The mathematical problem - solving of 16 students in the target group had a higher score than the 70 percent of the full score and 2 students in the target group had a longer score than the 70 percent.

The results of the research were as follows:

The first cycle using the inquiry approach learning management and cooperative problem-solving learning package; there were 6 (33.33 %) students passing 70 percent of full score. The students had an average score 14.89.

The second cycle there were 9 (50.00 %) students passing 70 percent of full score. The students had an average score 16.33.

The third cycle there were 16 (88.89 %) students passing 70 percent of full score. The students had an average score 18.33.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนมีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะการคิดแก้ปัญหาแบบร่วมมือ ให้มีคะแนนอย่างน้อยร้อยละ 70 กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนผดุงนารี ที่เรียนในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 26 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะการคิดแก้ปัญหาแบบร่วมมือ จำนวน 10 แผน ชุดฝึกทักษะการคิดแก้ปัญหาแบบร่วมมือ แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 3 ชุด ชุดละ 3 ข้อ แบบสัมภาษณ์นักเรียน และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรม โดยสถิติที่ใช้ในการ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลแบบสร้างข้อสรุป

ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนหลังจบวงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 กลุ่มเป้าหมายทั้งหมดจำนวน 16 คน มีคะแนนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม กลุ่มเป้าหมายจำนวน 2 คน มีคะแนนไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70

ผลการวิจัยปรากฎดังนี้

วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 1 ใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ร่วมกับชุดฝึกทักษะการคิดแก้ปัญหาแบบร่วมมือ พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม มี 6 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 33.33 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 14.89

วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 2 พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม มี 9 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 50.00 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 16.33

วงจรปฏิบัติการที่ 3 พบว่า จำนวนนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม มี 16 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 88.89 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 18.33
