Creating a format of color codes to restore the Hoop Tams by Digital Colorization Technique: A Case study of Wat Pha Lei Lai, Ban NongPhok, Tambon Dong Bang, Amphur Nadoon, Mahasarakham

Abstract

Objectives of this research are as follows; 1) to create a format of color codes for Hoob Tams, 2) to use a format of color codes to restore the Hoob Tams by the digital colorization techniques. Research instruments are consisted of; 1) a record form for applying colors to paint Hoob Tams, 2) an interview form for interviewing experts of Thai Painting, 3) a record form for specifying color codes, 4) Consistency assessment form for examining the check list of prototype color code, 5) Check list of prototype color code, 6) Consistency assessment form for examining the evaluation form of prototype media quality, 7) Evaluation form of prototype quality. The Sample of this research is the one of Hoob Tam Paintings in Wat Pha Lei Lai, Tambon Dong Bang, Amphur Nadoon, Mahasarakham. which is called the painting of "Confrontation of Devils", which is derived from a purposive sampling. ​ Research findings are discovered that 1) there were 14 colors totally found in these Hoob Tams consisting of; Chinese indigo, light Chinese indigo, indigo, white, black, green, gray, beige, yellow, light purple, pink, brown, dark brown, and brown for background. The researcher analyzed the traditional materials and the procedure of color preparation to create a color prototype, and then brought those the color prototype to be synthesized as the format of color codes. 2) The format of color codes to restore the Hoop Tams by Digital Colorization Technique produced the painting of "Confrontation of Devils" as beautiful as it was during the time the painter painting this picture. The quality evaluation of the prototype media assessed by the experts are yielded at a very good level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อสร้างรูปแบบรหัสสีฮูปแต้ม 2) เพื่อนำรูปแบบรหัสสีคืนสภาพฮูปแต้มโดยใช้วิธีดิจิทัล คัลเลอร์ไรเซชัน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่ 1) แบบบันทึกการใช้สีของฮูปแต้ม 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านจิตรกรรมไทย 3) แบบบันทึกการลงรหัสสี 4) แบบประเมินความสอดคล้องของแบบตรวจสอบรายการรหัสสีฮูปแต้ม 5) แบบตรวจสอบรายการรหัสสีฮูปแต้ม 6) แบบประเมินความสอดคล้องของแบบประเมินคุณภาพสื่อต้นแบบ 7) แบบประเมินคุณภาพสื่อต้นแบบ กรณีศึกษาภาพฮูปแต้มของวัดป่าเลไลย์ ตำบลดงบัง อำเภอนาดูน จังหวัดมหาสารคาม จำนวน 1 ภาพ คือภาพมารผจญ ได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ค้นพบสีในฮูปแต้มทั้งหมด 14 สี ได้แก่ สีครามจีน สีครามจีนอ่อน สีครามหม้อ สีขาว สีดำ สีเขียว สีเทา สีเนื้อ สีเหลือง สีม่วงอ่อน สีชมพู สีน้ำตาล สีน้ำตาลเข้มและสีน้ำตาลพื้นหลัง วิเคราะห์วัสดุดั้งเดิมและขั้นตอนการเตรียมสี นำมาสร้างเป็นสีต้นแบบแล้วสังเคราะห์เป็นรูปแบบรหัสสี 2) นำรูปแบบรหัสสีมาคืนสภาพฮูปแต้มด้วยวิธีดิจิทัล คัลเลอร์ไรเซชัน ทำให้ภาพมารผจญมีสีสันสวยงามใกล้เคียงช่วงเวลาที่ช่างแต้มวาดภาพขึ้นมามากที่สุด ผลการประเมินคุณภาพสื่อต้นแบบโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิอยู่ในระดับดีมาก
