วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง แนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าในหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ และกลวิธีทางภาษาการนำเสนอแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าในหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ โดยใช้แนวคิดการนำเสนอข่าว พาดหัวข่าว เนื้อข่าวและแนวคิดกลวิธีทางภาษา การใช้คำศัพท์ วลี ประโยค การใช้ชื่อและการเลือกชื่อ การใช้คำ การใช้คำขยาย เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลตามความมุ่งหมาย ผ่านเว็บไซต์หนังสือพิมพ์ข่าวสดออนไลน์ และผ่านเว็บไซต์หนังสือพิมพ์ไทยรัฐออนไลน์ รวบรวมข้อมูลระหว่าง วันที่ 1 เดือน มกราคม พ.ศ. 2561 ถึง วันที่ 31 เดือน ธันวาคม 2561 จำนวนทั้งหมด 120 ข่าว

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า วิธีการนำเสนอข่าวผ่านองค์ประกอบสำคัญของการเขียนข่าว โดยเฉพาะการพาดหัวข่าวและเนื้อข่าว ทำให้ทราบแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าในหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ จากหนังสือพิมพ์ข่าวสดออนไลน์ และไทยรัฐออนไลน์ มีปรากฏอยู่ 4 ด้าน คือ การปลูกป่า การพัฒนาป่า การป้องกันไฟไหม้ป่า และการป้องกันการตัดไม้ทำลายป่า โดยพบแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าด้านการป้องกันการตัดไม้ทำลายป่ามีปรากฏมากที่สุด รองลงมาเป็นด้านการปลูกป่า ต่อจากนั้นก็เป็นด้านการพัฒนาป่า ส่วนที่พบน้อยที่สุดก็คือ ด้านการป้องกันไฟไหม้ป่า ส่วนกลวิธีทางภาษาการนำเสนอข่าวการอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้ในหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ พบกลวิธีทางภาษา 6 ประเด็นคือ การใช้คำศัพท์ วลี ประโยค การใช้ชื่อและการเรียกชื่อ การใช้คำกริยา การใช้คำขยาย โดยปรากฏกลวิธีการใช้คำศัพท์มากที่สุด รองลงไปคือการใช้คำกริยา การใช้ชื่อและการเรียกชื่อ การใช้คำขยาย และใช้วลี หรือกลุ่มคำ สุดท้ายก็คือประโยค กลวิธีดังกล่าวสื่อให้เห็นแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ป่าในหนังสือพิมพ์ภาษาไทยออนไลน์ได้อย่างชัดเจน ตลอดจนมีการพัฒนาศักยภาพกลวิธีการนำเสนอข่าวให้เหมาะสมกับการสื่อสารในยุคดิจิทัลได้อย่างน่าสนใจในยุคปัจจุบัน
