Development of Problem - Solving Ability of Mathayomsuksa 5 Students by Using FOPS Strategy

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research was to develop Mattayomsuksa 5 students Physics problem-solving ability of “Sound” in order to pass the criterion of 70 percent of the full score using FOPS strategy. The target group was 24 students of Mattayomsuksa 5 students. The tools used in the study included 1) 8 lesson plans on the subject of “Sound” based on FOPS strategy, 2) a problem- solving ability test on the Physics subject of “Sound”, 3) a students behavior observation form in Physics problem-solving and 4) a student interview form. The data were analyzed by using mean, percentage , and standard deviation. The results of classroom action research revealed that: in cycle 1, there were 7 students passed their criteria of 70% of the full score in cycle 2, there were 19 students passed their criteria of 70% of the full score and in cycle 3, there were 24 students passed their criteria of 70% of the full score.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา เรื่อง เสียง ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกลวิธีเอฟโอพีเอส กลุ่มเป้าหมายในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 24 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกลวิธีเอฟโอพีเอส เรื่อง เสียง จำนวน 8 แผน 2) แบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา เรื่อง เสียง 3) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา 4) แบบสัมภาษณ์นักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในวงรอบปฏิบัติการที่ 1 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 7 คน วงรอบปฏิบัติการที่ 2 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 19 คน และในวงรอบปฏิบัติการที่ 3 มีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 24 คน
