Impact of Innovation on Operational Efficiency of Tourism Community Enterprises in Upper Northeast Region 1

Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between innovation and operational efficiency of tourism community enterprises, the influence of customer communication on the relationship between innovation and operational efficiency of tourism community enterprises, and the influence of the use of information technology in operations on the relationship between innovation and operational efficiency of tourism community enterprises. The sample group used in this study was 327 tourism community enterprise entrepreneurs in upper northeast region 1. The research tool was questionnaires. Data were analyzed by percentage, frequency, standard deviation, multiple correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis.

The results showed that the use of digital technology for access and disseminate information, electronic commerce transactions, and creative entrepreneurs’ digital innovation, significantly have a positive correlation with operator business efficiency. Meanwhile, the use of digital technology as a tool significantly has a negative effect on operator business efficiency. Lastly, no correlation was found between business-driven innovation and operator business efficiency. Also, the findings of this study indicated that the influence of customer communication is a moderator variable on the relationship between innovation and operator business efficiency.

Moreover, the outcome of this research demonstrated that the influence of information technology used in operations is the moderator which has a positive effect on the relationship of innovation and operator business efficiency.

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว ศึกษาอิทธิพลของการสื่อสารกับลูกค้าที่มีต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว และศึกษาอิทธิพลของการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาใช้ในการดำเนินงานที่มีต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือผู้ประกอบการวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน 1 จำนวน 327 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าร้อยละ ความถี่ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณ

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลในการเข้าถึงข้อมูลเผยแพร่ข้อมูล การทำธุรกรรมทางพาณิชย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ การส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนศักยภาพความคิดสร้างสรรค์ด้านนวัตกรรมดิจิทัลของผู้ประกอบการ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกและมีนัยสำคัญกับประสิทธิภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจของผู้ประกอบการ ในขณะที่การใช้เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมเป็นเครื่องมือในการพัฒนาสินค้านวัตกรรมมีผลกระทบเชิงลบต่อประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ และการนำนวัตกรรมเข้ามาขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจของชุมชน ไม่มีนัยสำคัญกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินธุรกิจ

ผลการศึกษาอิทธิพลของการสื่อสารกับลูกค้าที่มีต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว การสื่อสารกับลูกค้าเป็นตัวแปรกำกับ ผลการศึกษาอิทธิพลของการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาใช้ในการดำเนินงานที่มีต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว การใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาใช้ในการดำเนินงานเป็นตัวแปรกำกับและมีอิทธิพลเชิงบวกต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนวัตกรรมกับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของวิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยว
