The Development of a Program to Enhance Active Learning for Teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham

Abstract

This research aimed to; 1) study a current condition, a desirable condition, and needs to enhance active learning for teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham 2) develop a program to enhance active learning for teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham. The research was conducted in 2 phases as follows. Phase 1: The current condition, the desirable condition, and the needs to enhance active learning for teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham were studied. The sample group consisted of 322 teachers of schools under Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham selected through the stratified random sampling technique. The informants were a director and a teacher from best practice schools selected through the purposive sampling technique. The research tools were a questionnaire and an interview form. The statistics used in the quantitative data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and PNIModified. Phase 2: The development of a program to enhance active learning for teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham was studied. The program was assessed by 7 experts selected through the purposive sampling technique. The research tool was an assessment form on suitability and feasibility of the program.

The results were as follows:

1. The current condition of active learning under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham was overall at the moderate level. The desirable conditions of active learning under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham was overall at the high level. The needs assessment of active learning was found in descending order, namely, learning design, using material, innovation and technology for learning, learning by doing and thinking, and authentic assessment.

2. The program to enhance active learning for teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Mahasarakham consisted of 1) Principle 2) Objectives 3) Content 4) Learning process and 5) Measurement and evaluation. The content consisted of 4 modules: Module 1 learning design, Module 2 learning by doing and thinking, Module 3 using material, innovation and technology for learning, and Module 4 authentic assessment. The result of suitability assessment of the program was at the highest level and the result of feasibility assessment of the program was at the high level.

การวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม 2) เพื่อออกแบบ สร้าง และประเมินโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม การดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ครูในสถานศึกษาสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม จำนวน 322 คน สุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้เทคนิคการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา 1 คน และครูผู้สอน 1 คน จากโรงเรียนที่มีแนวปฏิบัติที่ดี จำนวน 2 โรงเรียน ใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น ระยะที่ 2 การออกแบบ สร้าง และประเมินโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม โดยมีผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิตรวจสอบยืนยันโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม จำนวน 7 คน โดยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรม

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. สภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ส่วนความต้องการจำเป็นในการเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู เรียงลำดับความต้องการจำเป็นจากมากไปหาน้อย ได้แก่ ด้านการออกแบบการเรียนรู้ ด้านการใช้และพัฒนาสื่อ นวัตกรรม และเทคโนโลยีเพื่อการเรียนรู้ ด้านการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการคิดและการลงมือปฏิบัติ และด้านการวัดและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ตามสภาพจริง

2. โปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม ประกอบด้วย 1) หลักการ 2) วัตถุประสงค์ 3) เนื้อหา 4) กระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้ และ 5) การวัดและประเมินผล โดยมีเนื้อหา ประกอบด้วย 4 Module ได้แก่ Module 1 ด้านการออกแบบการเรียนรู้ Module 2 ด้านการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการคิดและการลงมือปฏิบัติ Module 3 ด้านการใช้และพัฒนาสื่อ นวัตกรรม และเทคโนโลยีเพื่อการเรียนรู้ และ Module 4 ด้านการวัดและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ตามสภาพจริง ซึ่งผลการประเมินโปรแกรมโดยรวมมีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และมีความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมาก
