Phra That Muang Chan : Faith and ethnic identity to create indigenous dances in the context of localism

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study faith, ethnic identity and the tradition of paying homage to Phra That Mueang Chan in a popular local context; (Muang Chan) using qualitative research methods Based on documentary and field studies The research tools were observational form, interview form, focus group discussion, sample group. The data used in the research consisted of interviewing 2 knowledgeable people, 4 practitioners, 30 general people, and taking the research results by descriptive analytical method.

1) The researcher saw the value of the Phra That Mueang Chan worship tradition of the ethnic group. Various in Mueang Chan District Sisaket province consists of 4 tribes: Laos, Khmers, Yue, which are related to the common beliefs. 2) The researcher was inspired to create a piece of folk dance, Phra That Muang Chan Worship, to demonstrate the belief and faith of ethnic groups towards the sacred objects of many ethnic groups in the area. Until the tradition of worshiping Phra That Mueang Chan It also preserves and inherits cultural traditions continuously. the researcher therefore brought the tradition of worshiping Phra That Mueang Chan of ethnic groups in the area Mueang Chan District Sisaket Province Through the concept of inventing dances and combining them to create the creation of indigenous dances in a local context with diverse ethnic identities. It is also another way to develop the potential of creative local dancing arts. and reveals ethnic identity through the form of the show Through the form of performances that convey the worship of Phra That Mueang Chan In order to create a valuable heritage of local wisdom

การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาศรัทธาคติอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์และความเป็นมาประเพณีไหว้พระธาตุเมืองจันทร์ในบริบทท้องถิ่นนิยม 2) เพื่อสร้างสรรค์นาฏศิลป์พื้นเมืองจากอัตลักษณ์กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์มนจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ชุด สักการะพระธาตุ (เมืองจันทร์) โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ จากการศึกษาเอกสารและภาคสนาม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสังเกต แบบสัมภาษณ์ สนทนากลุ่ม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ สัมภาษณ์ผู้รู้จำนวน 2 คน ผู้ปฏิบัติ 4 คน บุคคลทั่วไปจำนวน 30 คน และนำผลงานการวิจัยด้วยวิธีพรรณนาวิเคราะห์

ผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1) ผู้วิจัยได้เห็นถึงคุณค่าของประเพณีบวงสรวงพระธาตุเมืองจันทร์ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ต่างๆในอำเภอเมืองจันทร์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษประกอบไปด้วย 4 เผ่า คือ ลาว ส่วย เขมร เยอ ซึ่งมีความเกี่ยวโยงด้านศรัทธาคติที่มีร่วมกัน 2) ผู้วิจัยจึงเกิดแรงบันดาลใจที่จะสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏศิลป์พื้นเมือง ชุด สักการะพระธาตุ เมืองจันทร์ เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อและศรัทธาของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่มีต่อสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์คู่บ้านของหลายกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในพื้นที่ จนเกิดเป็นประเพณีบวงสรวงพระธาตุเมืองจันทร์ ทั้งยังเป็นการอนุรักษ์ สืบทอด วัฒนธรรมประเพณีอย่างต่อเนื่อง ผู้วิจัยจึงได้นำเอาประเพณีบวงสรวงพระธาตุเมืองจันทร์ ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในพื้นที่ อำเภอเมืองจันทร์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ มาผ่านแนวคิดนาฏยประดิษฐ์และผสมผสานให้เกิดเป็นการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏศิลป์พื้นเมืองในบริบทท้องถิ่นที่มีอัตลักษณ์ทางชาติพันธุ์ที่หลากหลาย ทั้งยังเป็นอีกหนึ่งแนวทางในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนาฏศิลป์พื้นเมืองสร้างสรรค์ และทำให้เห็นอัตลักษณ์ทางชาติพันธุ์ โดยผ่านรูปแบบการแสดง ที่สื่อถึงการสักการะพระธาตุเมืองจันทร์ เพื่อให้เกิดเป็นมรดกภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นให้ดำรงอยู่อย่างมีคุณค่า
