Main Conceptual of External Reading Books for Thai Language Subject at Secondary School Levels 1-6

Abstract

This thesis aims to study the main concepts and intertextuality of 11 non-fiction supplementary reading books for the Thai Language subject for secondary school students in grades 1-6, as outlined in the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008). The data was analyzed qualitatively using the main concept and intertextuality frameworks.

The findings reveal that the main concepts in these supplementary reading books for the Thai Language subject for grades 1-6 can be categorized into seven groups: 1) the family unit, 2) the three main pillars: the Nation, Religion, and Monarchy, 3) educational institutions, 4) natural conservation, 5) ethics and morals, 6) culture, tradition, custom, and belief, and 7) Thai identity. Additionally, the instances of intertextuality in these books can be categorized into six types based on their nature: 1) lines from songs, 2) lines from historical narratives, 3) lines from literary works, 4) lines from films, 5) lines from artworks, and 6) lines from utterances.

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาความคิดสำคัญและสหบทในหนังสืออ่านนอกเวลา สาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 ตามหลักสูตรแกนกลางการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานพุทธศักราช 2551 ประเภทสารคดี จำนวน 11 เล่ม วิเคราะห์ด้วยระเบียบวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ตามกรอบแนวคิดความคิดสำคัญและแนวคิดสหบท

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความคิดสำคัญที่ปรากฏในหนังสืออ่านนอกเวลา สาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 จำแนกได้ 7 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับสถาบันครอบครัว2) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับสถาบันชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ 3) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับสถาบันการศึกษา 4) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติ 5) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับคุณธรรมและจริยธรรม 6) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี ขนบธรรมเนียม และ 7) ความคิดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทย ส่วนการใช้สหบทที่ปรากฏในหนังสืออ่านนอกเวลา สาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 จำแนกได้ 6 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1) ลักษณะความเป็นสหบทจาก ตัวบทที่ปรากฏในเพลง 2) ลักษณะความเป็นสหบทจากตัวบทที่ปรากฏในเรื่องเล่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ 3) ลักษณะความเป็นสหบทจากตัวบทที่ปรากฏในวรรณกรรม 4) ลักษณะความเป็นสหบทจากตัวบทที่ปรากฏในภาพยนตร์ 5) ลักษณะความเป็นสหบทจากตัวบทที่ปรากฏในงานศิลปะ และ 6) ลักษณะ ความเป็นสหบทจากตัวบทที่ปรากฏในคำกล่าวของบุคคล
