The Development of Learning Activity based on Inquiry Approach coopered with SSCS Model to Enhance the Problem-Solving Ability on Electrochemistry of Mathayomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) develop lesson plans based on inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model that affect problem-solving ability with a required efficiency of 70/70, 2) compare problem-solving abilities of Mathayomsuksa 5 using inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model with 70 percent criterion, and 3) compare learning achievement on the topic of electrochemistry for Mathayomsuksa 5 students through using inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model with 70 percent criterion. The sample used in this study were 42 students of Mathayomsuksa 5 in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2023 at Sarakhampittayakhom School, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included 1) the lesson plans based on inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model, 2) the problem-solving ability test, and 3) the achievement test in electrochemistry developed by the researcher. Statistics values used in this study consist of percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one sample t-test.

The results of the research were as follows:

1) The organization of learning activities based on inquiry approach learning approach coopered with the SSCS learning model on the topic of electrochemistry for Mathayomsuksa 5 students were developed, and there were 5 activities: 1) engagement, 2) exploration and investigation, combined with search (S) and solve (S), 3) explanation and conclusion, combined with create (C), 4) elaboration, combined with share (S), and 5) the evaluation. The effectiveness of these learning activities was 75.36/77.45, which is higher than the set criterion of 70/70.

2) Students who have been learning by using inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model in electrochemistry had an average problem-solving ability score of 25 points, equivalent to 78.13 percent. This is significantly higher than the 70 percent criterion, with statistical significance at the .05 level.

3) Students who have been learning by using inquiry approach coopered with SSCS model in electrochemistry had an average achievement score of 15.29 points, equivalent to 76.43 percent. This is significantly higher than the 70 percent criterion, with statistical significance at the .05 level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS ที่ส่งเสริมความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 70/70 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 คะแนนเต็ม และ 3) เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 คะแนนเต็ม กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/10 ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2566 โรงเรียนสารคามพิทยาคม ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม จำนวน 42 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา และ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน วิชาเคมี เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้น สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้การทดสอบที (One sample t-test)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ได้แนวทางการพัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 5 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1) ขั้นสร้างความสนใจ 2) ขั้นสำรวจและค้นหา ร่วมกับการค้นหา (S) กับการแก้ปัญหา (S) 3) ขั้นอธิบายและลงข้อสรุป ร่วมกับการสร้างคำตอบ (C) 4) ขั้นขยายความรู้ ร่วมกับการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น (S) และ 5) ขั้นประเมินผล โดยมีประสิทธิภาพของการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เท่ากับ 75.36/77.45 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 70/70 ที่กำหนดไว้

2) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาเฉลี่ย 25 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 78.13 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสืบเสาะหาความรู้ ร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SSCS เรื่อง เคมีไฟฟ้า ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนเฉลี่ย 15.29 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.43 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
