Program to Enhance Active Learning by using Phonics of English Teachers under the Jurisdiction of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area Office, 1

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study a current condition, a desirable condition, and the need for using Phonics in active learning for English subjects of English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 and 2) to design and develop the program for active learning competency enhancement in using Phonics for English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1. The sample group was consisted of 148 English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area 1. The research was performed in 2 phases as follows. Phase 1: The current condition, the desirable condition, and the need for using Phonics in active learning for the English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 were studied and, there were 5 experts to approve research equipment. The research tool was a questionnaire. The statistics used in the quantitative data analysis were mean and standard deviation. Phrase 2: The design and development of program for active learning competency enhancement in using Phonics for English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 was studied. There were 5 specialists to assess the program. The research tool an appropriateness and feasibility evaluation scale. The statistics used in the quantitative data analysis were mean and standard deviation.

The results were as follows:

The current conditions of using Phonics in active learning for the English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 was overall at high level. The desirable condition of using Phonics in active learning for the English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 was overall at utmost level. Program for active learning competency enhancement in using Phonics for English teachers under the Office of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area, 1 consisted of 3 components: 1) principle, 2) purpose and, 3) content, consisting of 4 modules, namely, 1) The design to use Phonics in active learning, 2) The conducting active learning by using Phonics, 3) The usage and development of Phonics media and technology in active learning and, 4) the learning evaluation of using Phonics in active learning. Moreover, the results of assessing the appropriateness and feasibility of the program were at high level.

การวิจัยนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์และความต้องการจำเป็นของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 ในการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ และ 2) เพื่อออกแบบและพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ครูผู้สอนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 จำนวน 148 คน งานวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์และความต้องการจำเป็นในจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 โดยมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ระยะที่2 การออกแบบและพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 กลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิประเมินโปรแกรม จำนวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ แบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรม สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

ภาพรวมของสภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 อยู่ในระดับมาก ภาพรวมของสภาพที่พึงประสงค์อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ซึ่งด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ด้านการออกแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ โดยองค์ประกอบของโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้หลักโฟนิกส์ของครูภาษาอังกฤษ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาร้อยเอ็ด เขต 1 มีองค์ประกอบดังนี้ 1) หลักการ 2) จุดประสงค์ 3) เนื้อหา ประกอบด้วย Module 1 การออกแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้โฟนิกส์ Module 2 การจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้โฟนิกส์ Module 3 การใช้และพัฒนาสื่อนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยีการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้โฟนิกส์ Module 4 การวัดประเมินผลการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกโดยใช้โฟนิกส์ 4) วิธีดำเนินการ และ 5) การวัดและประเมินผล ผลการประเมินโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมีความเหมาะสมและมีความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมาก
