Learning Achievement Through Web-Based Instruction Following Constructivist Learning Models in the Computer Subject for Prathomsuksa 6 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were five-fold : 1) to develop Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems for Computer Networks, Constructivist Theory Teaching Learning Model, Computer Subject for Prathomsuksa 6 with a required efficiency of 80/80, 2) to find out an effectiveness of the developed Web-Based Instruction 3) to compare learning achievements and critical thinking of the students and 4) to study student’s attitude toward Web-Based Instruction. The sample used in this study were 48 students from Ban Huachang School and Thessabal Nachueak School Mahasarakham Province in the First semester of the school year of 2017 By Randomization. The instruments used were 1) a Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems 2) learning organization plans 3) the achievement tests 4) the critical thinking tests and 5) the questionnaire used for asking the student’s opinions toward a Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems. The F-test (One-way MANCOVA) was used to Statistical hypothesis testing.

The results of this study were as follows :

1. The Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems had an efficiency of 83.84/82.33 which was higher than a required efficiency of 80/80.

2. The Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems had an effectiveness index of the 0.5217, meaning that the students progressed their learning at 52.17 percent.

3. The students who learned using the Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems showed higher achievements and critical thinking than the students who learned using the conventional learning approach at the .05 level of significance.

4. The students who learned using the Web-Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems showed their attitude toward the Web Based Instruction on Data Communication Systems for Computer Networks at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมาย เพื่อพัฒนาบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตตามแนวการจัดการเรียนรู้คอนสตรัคติวิสต์ สาระคอมพิวเตอร์ ของผู้เรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 เพื่อหาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและการคิดวิเคราะห์ และเพื่อศึกษาเจตคติของผู้เรียนที่เรียนด้วยบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้เรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 48 คน จากโรงเรียนบ้านหัวช้าง และโรงเรียนเทศบาล นาเชือก จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2560 โดยกระบวนการสุ่ม (Randomization) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ บทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน แบบทดสอบวัดการคิดวิเคราะห์ และแบบวัดเจตคติของผู้เรียน การทดสอบสมมติฐานใช้สถิติ F-test (One-Way MANCOVA)

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. บทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 83.84/82.33 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้คือ 80/80

2. บทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต มีค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผล (The Effectiveness Index : E.I.) เท่ากับ 0.5217 แสดงว่าผู้เรียนมีความก้าวหน้าในการเรียนร้อยละ 52.17

3. ผู้เรียนที่เรียนด้วยบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และการคิดวิเคราะห์สูงกว่าผู้เรียนที่เรียนตามปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. ผู้เรียนที่เรียนด้วยบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต มีเจตคติต่อการเรียนด้วยบทเรียนผ่านระบบเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง
