The Image of Love

Abstract

The visual arts creation thesis entitled The Image of love was inspired by different cultures express love in different forms, and the original intention of the festival is to express the blessing of love, where love does not only refer to love, but also affection, the love of heaven and earth, the love of the family and so on. This study aimed to explore the definition and form of love. In order to study these two definitions, go ahead and create artwork to realize these two definitions. The scope of conceptual express love and reflect the multi-faceted nature of love. The forms of the creation were using carp, yin and yang, butterfly and flower, the techniques were bamboo weaving and binding. This creative work was conducted by the data collected from the conditions of the environment, the data from related documents, and the data about the creation of influential visual arts. The researcher analyzed the data to find the clarity of the theme, symbolic form, and creation techniques. There were four works of art artistic works with unique characteristics.

The results of the study and creation revealed that it gives creativity to the traditional culture and love, giving new life and vitality, and presenting a different kind of love and a different cultural connotation.

in conclusion: I believe that from the perspective of artistic creation, works of art can be created and expressed through cross-cultural differences in emotional expression, exploring emotional symbols, images and expressions in different cultures. Symbols and lines in artwork can give people a sense of firmness and freedom. This promotes artistic exchange and understanding between different cultures. My theme can also examine the difference between love in the old society and love in the new era.
