Utakabaramee : Creation of contemporary Thai dance from faith,beliefs and sacred areas of temples Prang Ku Praphachai

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the faith, beliefs and sacred areas of Wat Prang Ku Praphachai. Khon Kaen Province 2) To create contemporary Thai dance from Wat Prang Ku Praphachai. Khon Kaen Province This research is qualitative research by studying data from research documents and field data. From a population of 30 people using purposive selection. The sample group consisted of 6 experts, 8 practitioners and 20 general populations using in-depth interviews. The tools used are surveys, observational forms, and interviews.

The research results found that Wat Prang Ku Praphachai is a historical area that represents the ancient Khmer culture divided by the beliefs and sacredness of Hindu Brahminism. and has been charged with meaning When it was taken as part of the coronation ceremony of the kings of King Rama IX and the current reign Make this area even more of a community faith area. The creation of contemporary Thai dance, Uthotbaramee series, from faith, beliefs and this sacred space. with dance choreography, music and costumes to have meaning and cultural dances from the past In addition to its beauty that people of all genders and ages can easily access. Dance also serves to firmly bind the community and the historical site together.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาศรัทธาคติและพื้นที่ศักดิ์ของวัดปรางค์กู่ประภาชัย จังหวัดขอนแก่น 2) เพื่อสร้างสรรค์นาฏศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัยจากวัดปรางค์กู่ประภาชัย จังหวัดขอนแก่น งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารงานวิจัยและข้อมูลภาคสนาม จากประชากรจำนวน 30 คน โดยใช้วิธีเลือกแบบเจาะจง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้รู้จำนวน 6 คน ผู้ปฏิบัติจำนวน 8 คน และประชากรทั่วไป จำนวน 20 คน ใช้วิธีสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือแบบสำรวจ แบบสังเกต และแบบสัมภาษณ์

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า วัดปรางค์กู่ประภาชัยเป็นพื้นที่ประวัติศาสตร์ที่บ่งบอกถึงวัฒนธรรมขอมโบราณที่แบ่งไว้ด้วยความเชื่อและความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของศาสนาพราหมณ์ฮินดู และได้ถูกประจุความหมาย เมื่อถูกนำไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษกของกษัตริย์ในรัชกาลที่ 9 และรัชกาลปัจจุบัน ทำให้พื้นที่แห่งนี้กลายเป็นพื้นที่ศรัทธาของชุมชนมากยิ่งขึ้น การสร้างสรรค์นาฏศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัย ชุดอุทกบารมี จากศรัทธาคติและพื้นที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งนี้ ด้วยการออกแบบท่ารำ ดนตรี และเครื่องแต่งกาย ให้มีความหมาย และนาฏยลักษณ์ตามวัฒนธรรมในอดีต นอกจากความงดงามที่คนทุกเพศทุกวัยเข้าถึงได้ง่ายแล้ว นาฏกรรมยังทำหน้าที่ยึดโยงชุมชนกับโบราณสถานไว้ด้วยกันอย่างเหนียวแน่นอีกด้วย
