The Development of Teachers' Learning Management Program for STEM Education under the Office of MahaSarakham Secondary Education Service Area

Abstract

STEM education for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Mahasarakham Province, and 2) develop a program to enhance STEM education for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area. The research is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1: Study of the current status, desired status, and necessity of STEM education for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Mahasarakham Province. The sample group includes 202 teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, selected by stratified random sampling and using the size of the educational institution as the unit of sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Phase 2: Development of a program to enhance STEM education for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Mahasarakham Province. The informants include 3 STEM teachers from 3 best practice schools and a qualified person for verification. The suitability and feasibility of the program were assessed by 5 people using purposive selection. The research tools used were structured interviews and the program's suitability and feasibility assessment form. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The findings of this research were as follows:

1. The current status of STEM education management for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Maha Sarakham, is at a high level overall. The desired status of STEM education management for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Maha Sarakham, is at a very high level overall. The priority of the needs for STEM education management for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, ranked from most to least important, are: 1) Problem identification 2) Problem-related data and concepts collection 3) Problem-solving method design 4) Problem-solving planning and implementation 5) Testing, evaluating, and improving problem-solving or workpieces 6) Presenting problem-solving methods, problem-solving results, or workpieces, respectively.

2. The program to enhance STEM education management for teachers in the Science and Technology Learning Group under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Maha Sarakham, consists of 1) Principles 2) Objectives 3) Content and activities, divided into 6 Modules 4) Development methods, including self-learning, learning from actual practice, and training and seminars, and 5) Program evaluation. The results of the evaluation of the appropriateness and feasibility of the STEM learning management enhancement program for teachers in the science and technology subject group under the Maha Sarakham Secondary Educational Service Area Office were overall at a high level of appropriateness and at the highest level of feasibility.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์และความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม 2) เพื่อพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม การวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์และความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครูกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ครูกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม จำนวน 202 คน โดยการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ และใช้ขนาดของสถานศึกษาเป็นหน่วยของการสุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม ระยะที่ 2 การพัฒนาโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ครูผู้สอนสะเต็มศึกษา จำนวน 3 คน จากโรงเรียนวิธีปฏิบัติที่ดี (Best Practice) จำนวน 3 โรงเรียน และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิตรวจสอบยืนยัน ประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นได้ของโปรแกรม จำนวน 5 คน โดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง แบบประเมินความเหมาะสม และความเป็นไปได้ของโประแกรม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. สภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการจำเป็นในการการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม เรียงลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการจำเป็นจากมากไปหาน้อย ได้แก่ 1)การระบุปัญหา 2) การรวบรวมข้อมูลและแนวคิดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหา 3) การออกแบบวิธีการแก้ปัญหา 4) การวางแผนและดำเนินการแก้ปัญหา 5) การทดสอบ ประเมินผล และปรับปรุงแก้ไข การแก้ปัญหาหรือชิ้นงาน 6) การนำเสนอวิธีการแก้ปัญหา ผลการแก้ปัญหาหรือชิ้นงาน ตามลำดับ

2. โปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครู กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม ประกอบด้วย 1) หลักการ 2) วัตถุประสงค์ 3) เนื้อหาและกิจกรรม แบ่งออกเป็น 6 Module 4) วิธีพัฒนาประกอบด้วย การเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง การเรียนรู้จากการปฏิบัติจริง และการฝึกอบรมและร่วมสัมมนา และ 5) การประเมินผลโปรแกรม ผลการประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษาของครูกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษามหาสารคาม โดยรวม มีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมาก และความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
