Research Project for Developing a 3D City Simulation Platform as a Guideline for Conservation and Development of the Old Town Area of Roi Et

Abstract

The conservation and development of old towns require comprehensive planning to balance the preservation of cultural heritage with urban development that aligns with current economic and social contexts. This research aims to study the processes and procedures involved in formulating an action plan for the conservation and development of the old town of Roi Et. Emphasis is placed on community participation and the application of the SuperMap platform for data collection, analysis, and presentation of urban and cultural capital information to support effective spatial planning. The study developed a platform to visualize data related to Roi Et old town, which was utilized to analyze the area's potential, suitability, and limitations. It also proposes strategic approaches for improving the management and development of the old town conservation and development zoning plan, ensuring alignment with the local cultural context and area potential. The findings are expected to support local policy-making, spatial planning, and sustainable cultural conservation efforts.

การอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาเมืองเก่าเป็นกระบวนการที่ต้องอาศัยการวางแผนอย่างรอบด้าน เพื่อสร้างความสมดุลระหว่างการรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมกับการพัฒนาพื้นที่ให้สอดคล้องกับบริบททางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในปัจจุบัน งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาขั้นตอนและกระบวนการจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติการด้านการอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาเมืองเก่าร้อยเอ็ด โดยเน้นการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในพื้นที่ รวมถึงการประยุกต์ใช้แพลตฟอร์ม SuperMap ในการรวบรวม วิเคราะห์ และนำเสนอข้อมูลเมืองและข้อมูลทุนทางวัฒนธรรม เพื่อใช้เป็นเครื่องมือสนับสนุนการวางแผนเชิงพื้นที่อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การวิจัยนี้ได้พัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มสำหรับแสดงข้อมูลเมืองเก่าร้อยเอ็ด ซึ่งถูกใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ศักยภาพ ความเหมาะสม และข้อจำกัดของพื้นที่ พร้อมทั้งเสนอแนะแนวทางในการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงการบริหารจัดการพื้นที่บริเวณผังอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาเมืองเก่าร้อยเอ็ดให้สอดคล้องกับศักยภาพและวัฒนธรรมของท้องถิ่น ผลการวิจัยคาดว่าจะก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อการกำหนดนโยบายท้องถิ่น การวางแผนการใช้พื้นที่ และการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมอย่างยั่งยืน
