Abstract: Through the analysis of the gardening ideas and techniques of Suzhou gardens, this paper discusses the integration and application of garden culture in museum design. Suzhou Gardens incorporate Confucianism, Taoism, aesthetic ideas and the philosophical concept of "the unity of heaven and man", and realize the purification of the soul and the restoration of human nature. The spatial performance, natural elements, traditional culture and landscaping details of the garden reflect the characteristics of the garden, through the analysis of the characteristics of the garden: find out the internal connection between the artistic characteristics of the traditional garden space and the museum space and the new design method: 1Drawing on the spatial layout concept of Suzhou gardens2. The application of traditional landscaping techniques 3.The spatial embodiment of gardening ideas 3. "Introducing the scenery into the museum" is an integration and innovative method in the design of the museum space. The design work is a museum space for cultural display, located in Suzhou, extracting the natural elements of Suzhou gardens, bamboo, mountain stones, traditional paintings, and regional cultural symbols, and designing the spatial flow layout of the works, and designing the space design and display methods. The innovation point of the work: the design uses the colors of the two areas to represent the gardening ideas and techniques, the first part of the space of the work is distinguished by the color of Chinese ink painting, expressing a kind of pure and elegant gardening thought, and the second half of the green appears, which shows the integration of garden techniques with the museum space, and the place where the color appears is also the place where the interaction of the space attractions increases, integrating modern technology to create a cultural space integration and innovation.
