Developing Comprehension Skills Using the SQ6R Learning Method Combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) For Mathayomsuksa 2 Students

Abstract

The aims of this research were 1) to assess the efficacy of the reading comprehension lesson plan utilizing the SQ6R learning management method in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for secondary school students, meeting the 80/80 standard; 2) to evaluate the reading comprehension effectiveness index employing the SQ6R learning management method alongside Artificial Intelligence (AI) for secondary school students; and 3) to enhance reading comprehension skills through the SQ6R learning management method integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for secondary school students, both prior to and following the implementation of the method. The sample comprised 40 secondary school students in the second semester of 2024, chosen by cluster random selection. The data-collecting instruments comprised six lesson plans (12 hours) and a multiple-choice reading comprehension assessment with four alternatives (30 items), with difficulty levels ranging from 0.33 to 0.83, a discrimination index between 0.20 and 0.73, and a reliability coefficient of 0.91. The statistical techniques employed for data analysis included mean, percentage, standard deviation, and the nonparametric hypothesis test, notably the Wilcoxon signed-rank test.

1) The research findings indicate that the lesson plan designed to enhance reading comprehension skills through the SQ6R learning model, integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for eighth-grade secondary school students, is effective (E1/E2), achieving scores of 94.55/81.50, thereby satisfying the established criteria of 80/80.

2) The comprehension reading efficiency index value, utilizing SQ6R learning management in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for eighth-grade pupils, is 0.6459. This signifies that students' scores rose by 0.6459, equivalent to 64.59 percent.

3) The outcomes of enhancing reading comprehension abilities using the SQ6R learning management model integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for 8th-grade students post-instruction were superior to pre-instruction, yielding an average score of 24.45 out of a maximum of 30, equating to 81.50%.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายคือ 1) เพื่อหาประสิทธิภาพของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้เรื่อง การอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2) เพื่อหาค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 และ 3) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ระหว่างก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2/2567 จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้มาด้วยวิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 6 แผน 12 ชั่วโมง แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ แบบปรนัย ชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 30 ข้อ ค่าความยากง่ายระหว่าง 0.33-0.83 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกระหว่าง 0.20-0.73 และค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.91 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบสอบสมมติฐาน Nonparametric Test แบบ The Wilcoxon signed Rank test

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง การพัฒนาความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีประสิทธิภาพ ( E1 / E2) เท่ากับ 94.55/81.50 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้คือ 80/80

2. ค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลของความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.6459 แสดงว่า นักเรียนมีคะแนนเพิ่มขึ้นเท่ากับ 0.6459 หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 64.59

3. ผลการพัฒนาความสามารถการอ่านจับใจความ โดยใช้รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ SQ6R ร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนโดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 24.45 จากคะแนนเต็ม 30 คะแนน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 81.50
