A CONSTRUCTION OF A DIAGNOSTIC TESTS AND WAYS OF PROBLEM SOLVING IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS : MATRIX FOR MATTHAYOMSUEKSA 4 STUDENTS.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the tests to diagnose the remediation of cause in learning mathematics learning Matrix for matthayomsueksa 4 students, construct the test of the remediation of cause in learning mathematics learning Matrix for matthayomsueksa 4 students and study the solution the remediation of cause in learning mathematics learning Matrix for matthayomsueksa 4 students. The population of this research is 2,748 students who studied at matthayomsueksa 4 of middle school and teachers in semester 2, 2017. There are 25 schools (74 classes) where are all in the Secondary Education Service Area Office 21, Bueng Kan. This research is classified into 2 phases that are 1) constructing and verifying the quality the diagnostic tests to diagnose the target group who is 300 students and studied at matthayomsueksa 4 in semester 2, 2017 of 5 middle schools of the Secondary Education Service Area Office 21, Bueng Kan by Multi–stage Random Sampling. This research is used 3 tests in each which are the explore test and the diagnostic tests, 2) studying the remediation of cause in learning mathematics. The target group was 5 teachers who are expert in mathematics and 10 students who studied at matthayomsueksa 4, Bueng Kan School Amphoe Bueng Kan using Purposive Sampling. The instrument of the research is Semi-Structure Interview. The statistics of the research are percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results of the research found that

The remediation of clause in learning mathematics learning Matrix formatthayomsueksa 4 students was lacked of understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, integer division and confused between row and principle Matrix, incorrect Determinant of a Matrix, Matrix Inverse, Linear equation using Gabrial Cramer and Augmented Matrix.

The diagnostic tests of the remediation of clause learning mathematics learningMatrix for matthayomsueksa 4 students had 3 tests which were test 1:18 items of Matrix (difficulty from 0.33-0.74, discrimination from 0.20-0.39), test 2:7 items of Matrix Inverse (difficulty from 0.40-0.66, discrimination from 0.25-0.55), and test 3:5 items of Linear equation (difficulty from 0.40-0.47, discrimination from 0.40-0.58)

The solution of remediation of learning of mathematics learning Matrix formatthayomsueksa 4 students was teachers had to review the background knowledge before presentation the lesson step by step (easy to difficult) using chants for motivate or engage the students learning, use the signal that representative of number in Matrix, group work to exchange their learning by discussion in the classroom, and remedial teaching for students who could not pass to help their achievement in higher level.

งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อสำรวจแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 สร้างแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 และศึกษาแนวทางในการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2559 ของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 21 บึงกาฬ จำนวน 25 โรงเรียน จำนวนห้องเรียน รวม 74 ห้องเรียน จำนวนนักเรียน 2,748 คน และครู งานวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ ได้แก่ 1) การสร้างและตรวจสอบคุณภาพของแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2559 ของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 21 บึงกาฬ จำนวน 5 โรงเรียน และจำนวนนักเรียน 300 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน (Multi–stage Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ประกอบด้วย แบบทดสอบสำรวจเพื่อหาข้อบกพร่อง และแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัย อย่างละ 3 ฉบับ 2) ศึกษาแนวทางการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้มาโดยเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) เป็นครูที่มีความรู้และเชี่ยวชาญในเนื้อหาคณิตศาสตร์ จำนวน 5 คน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนบึงกาฬ อำเภอเมืองบึงกาฬ จังหวัดบึงกาฬ จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง (Semi-Structur Interview) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. ข้อบกพร่องที่สำรววจพบในการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 คือ ขาดความเข้าใจในการบวก ลบ คูณ หารจำนวนเต็ม สับสนระหว่างแถวและหลักของเมทริกซ์ หาค่าดีเทอร์มินันต์ไม่ถูกต้อง หาค่าอินเวอร์สการคูณของเมทริกซ์ไม่ได้ ขาดความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการหาค่าระบบสมการเชิงเส้นโดยใช้กฎคราเมอร์ และเมทริกซ์แต่งเติม

2. แบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ได้มีทั้งหมด 3 ฉบับ ได้แก่ ฉบับที่ 1 เมทริกซ์ จำนวน 18 ข้อ มีค่าความยากตั้งแต่ 0.33–0.74 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกตั้งแต่ 0.20–0.39 ฉบับที่ 2 อินเวอร์สการคูณของเมทริกซ์ จำนวน 7 ข้อ ค่าความยากตั้งแต่ 0.40–0.66 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกตั้งแต่ 0.25–0.55 ฉบับที่ 3 การแก้ระบบสมการเชิงเส้นโดยใช้เมทริกซ์ จำนวน 5 ข้อ ค่าความยากตั้งแต่ 0.40–0.47 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกตั้งแต่ 0.40–0.58

3. แนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาข้อบกพร่องในการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องเมทริกซ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โดยครูผู้สอนต้องทบทวนเนื้อหาเดิมให้กับนักเรียนทุกครั้งก่อนเข้าสู่บทเรียน ให้สอนเป็นลำดับขั้นตอนจากง่ายไปหายาก มีการแต่งเพลงเข้ามาประกอบการสอนเพื่อดึงดูดความสนใจในการเรียนของนักเรียน และใช้สัญลักษณ์แทนตัวเลขลงในเมทริกซ์เพื่อให้เห็นเป็นรูปธรรม แบ่งกลุ่มนักเรียนเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ โดยให้นักเรียนออกมาอภิปรายหน้าห้องเรียน และสอนซ่อมเสริมให้กับนักเรียนที่ไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ เพื่อช่วยให้นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนที่สูงขึ้น
