Sexuality in Kam soy of Morlam Klon and Contemporary Morlam Sing

Abstract

This thesis has two main research objectives: 1) to study the language strategies in Kam Soy of the contemporary Morlam Klon and Morlam Sing 2) to study the sexuality in Kham Soy of the contemporary Morlam Kon and Morlam Sing. The document of the study is Kam Soy, which has the content mainly related to sexuality topic. It has been classified into 02 groups: verbal data (Kam Soy from the live performance recordings of Morlam Klong applied, and the contemporary Morlam Sing in the form of online media (YouTube) of contemporary Morlam applied Chatchawan Noi Pholdej versus Chutipa Rungroj Morlam Klong applied Somchai Kong Sam Jum versus Sukanya Yodnpa Morlam applied Jamlong Silver versus Puang Phet Kalaphan and Morlam Klong applied Bobby Theerawat Weruwan versus Homchan Dao Duang contemporary Morlam Sing Kung Supaporn versus Sai Rak contemporary Morlam Sing Denchai Wong can fight Praewaeng Saengthong contemporary Morlam Sing Dok Mei Pen Napha Somsuk versus Mai Phatcharee Chaiyalert total 49 words Kam Soy from the book of Kam Soy 50 Yod Khum Soy by Thong Mak Chanthalu (A.D.M.P.P) Pum Kam Soy by Thao Kham Pom Chua Champasak (1993) Kvam Soy - Kvam Thoy by Swing Bunjerm (1999) has 335 words. Kam Soy is a concept used in the research, which is the concept of language strategies and sexuality concepts.

The research results found that the language strategies of the contemporary Morlam Klon and Morlam Sing have two aspects: the strategy of selecting words, such as using rhyme words, using volumes, using dialects, and strategies for using rhetoric to create pictures, including using symbols, phonetics, metaphors, characteristics. Those strategies are the art of using Morlam language often interpolated in Morlam performances to create a joyful mood, which is the primary focus of poetry. Whereas the concept of sexuality in Kam Soy of the contemporary Morlam Klon and Morlam Sing, there are 05 aspects: sexuality and gender definition. Sexuality with a gender perspective, sexuality with sexual fantasies, sexuality with the gender power, and sexuality and the change of sexual ethics. These ideas about gender reflect the socio-cultural context associated with the sexuality present in the Isan lifestyle, such as gender inequality and the regulation of sexual behavior. Kam Soy is a solution to the fight against genders.

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายการวิจัย 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีทางภาษาในคำสอยของหมอลำกลอนและหมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัย 2) เพื่อศึกษาเพศวิถีในคำสอยของหมอลำกลอนและหมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัย ข้อมูลตัวบทที่ศึกษาเป็นคำสอยที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเพศเป็นหลัก จำแนกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ ข้อมูลมุขปาฐะ คำสอยจากบันทึกการแสดงสดของหมอลำกลอนประยุกต์และหมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยในรูปแบบสื่อออนไลน์ประเภทยูทูบ (YouTube) ของหมอลำกลอนประยุกต์ชัชวาลย์น้อย พลเดช ปะทะชุติภา รุ่งโรจน์ หมอลำกลอนประยุกต์สมชาย ฆ้องสามจูม ปะทะสุกัญญา ยอดนภา หมอลำกลอนประยุกต์จำลอง ลิ้นเงิน ปะทะพวงเพชร กาละพันธ์ และหมอลำกลอนประยุกต์บ๊อบบี้ ธีรวัฒน์ เวฬุวัน ปะทะหอมจันทร์ ดาวดวง หมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยบัวผัน ทังโส ปะทะศรีจันทร์ วีสี หมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยเอ อนุชา ราศรี ปะทะกุ้ง สุภาพร สายรักษ์ หมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยเด่นชัย วงศ์สามารถ ปะทะแพรวพราว แสงทอง หมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยดอกเหมย เพ็ญนภา สมสุข ปะทะใหม่ พัชรี ไชยเลิศ รวม 49 คำสอย ข้อมูลลายลักษณ์ คำสอยจากหนังสือประเภทคำสอย 50 ยอดคำสอย โดยทองมาก จันทะลือ (พ.ศ. ม.ป.ป.) ปื้มคำสอย โดยท้าวคำป้อม เชื้อจำปาศักดิ์ (พ.ศ. 2536) ความสอย-ความทวย โดยสวิง บุญเจิม (พ.ศ. 2542) มีคำสอย 335 คำสอย แนวคิดที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แนวคิดเรื่องกลวิธีทางภาษา แนวคิดเรื่องเพศวิถี

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลวิธีการใช้ภาษาในคำสอยของหมอลำกลอนและหมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยมี 2 ด้าน คือ กลวิธีด้านการเลือกสรรใช้ถ้อยคำ ได้แก่ การใช้คำสัมผัส การใช้คำผวน การใช้คำภาษาถิ่น และกลวิธีด้านการใช้โวหารสร้างภาพพจน์ ได้แก่ การใช้สัญลักษณ์ การใช้สัทพจน์ การใช้อุปมา การใช้บุคลาธิษฐาน กลวิธีดังกล่าวถือเป็นศิลปะอย่างหนึ่งในการใช้ภาษาที่หมอลำมักนำมาสอดแทรกในการแสดงหมอลำเพื่อสร้างอารมณ์สนุกครื้นเครงซึ่งเป็นจุดมุ่งหมายหลักของการสอย ส่วนความคิดเรื่องเพศวิถีในคำสอยของหมอลำกลอนและหมอลำซิ่งร่วมสมัยนั้นมี 5 ประเด็น คือเพศวิถีกับนิยามความหมายเพศ เพศวิถีกับมุมมองเรื่องเพศ เพศวิถีกับจิตนาการด้านเพศ เพศวิถีกับอำนาจของเพศ และเพศวิถีกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงจริยธรรมทางเพศ ความคิดที่มีต่อเรื่องเพศเหล่านี้ล้วนสะท้อนให้เห็นบริบททางสังคมวัฒนธรรมที่สัมพันธ์กับเพศวิถีที่ปรากฏอยู่ในแบบแผนการดำเนินชีวิตของชาวอีสาน เช่น ความไม่เท่าเทียมทางเพศและการจัดระเบียบควบคุมพฤติกรรมทางเพศ คำสอยจึงเป็นทางออกของการต่อสู้ต่อรองทางเพศ
