The Development of Learning Achievement, Problems-Solving Thinking Skill of Mattayomsuksa 6 Students by Using Problem Based Learning Cooperated with KWL Plus

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to develop learning achievement by problem-based learning coorperated with KWL Plus technique in chemistry subject of Mattayomsuksa 6 students passing the criterion of 70 percent of full score, 2) to develop problem solving thinking skill by problem-based learning coorperated with KWL Plus technique in chemistry subject of Mattayomsuksa 6 students passing the criterion of 70 percent of full score. The sample used in this study consisted of 31 Mattayomsuksa 6/1 students in the 2nd semester of 2019 academic year of Thachangratbamroong school. The instruments use in the study were 1) the lesson plans of problem-based learning coorperated with KWL Plus technique, 2) the learning achievement test, and 3)the problem-solving thinking skill test. The statistics used for analyzing data were the percentage, mean and standard deviation ; and one sample t-test.

The results of the study were as follows :

1. The learning achievement of students who learning with the problem-based learning coorperated with KWL Plus technique was higher than the criterion of 70 percent of the full score with statistically significant at the .05 level with an average score of 24.58 (x̅ = 24.58).

2. The problem-solving thinking skill of students who learning with the problem-based learning coorperated with KWL Plus technique was higher than the criterion of 70 percent of the full score with statistically significant at the .05 level with an average score of 21.48 (x̅ = 21.48).

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปัญหาเป็นฐานร่วมกับเทคนิค KWL Plus ในรายวิชาเคมี ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม 2) พัฒนาการคิดแก้ปัญหา โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปัญหาเป็นฐานร่วมกับเทคนิค KWL Plus ในรายวิชาเคมี ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6/1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 โรงเรียนท่าช้างราษฎร์บำรุง จำนวน 31 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปัญหาเป็นฐานร่วมกับเทคนิค KWL Plus 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และ 3) แบบวัดการคิดแก้ปัญหา สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบค่าทีแบบกลุ่มเดียว (One Sample t-test)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาเคมีของนักเรียนที่ ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปัญหาเป็นฐานร่วมกับเทคนิค KWL Plus มีคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 24.58 (x̅ = 24.58)

2. การคิดแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปัญหาเป็นฐานร่วมกับเทคนิค KWL Plus มีคะแนนการคิดแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 21.48 (x̅ = 21.48)
