Ecological Paths in Prathom Suksa 1-6 Textbooks, “Literature Rhythm”

Abstract

This study aims to explore the essence of nature and environment apparent in Prathom Suksa 1-6 textbooks “Literature Rhythm”; and to examine the ecological paths disclosed in the textbooks. The essence of nature and environment and the presentation strategies in the textbooks are analyzed by three theoretical concepts: literary criticism in ecology, elements of literature, and linguistic devices.

The findings reveal three types of the essence in nature and environment via ecological paths: landscapes, moral standards in doctrines, and Thai cultural wisdom, respectively. In view of the presentation strategies via ecological paths from the textbooks, there are four elements of literature in the essence of nature and environment towards the strategies of ecological path presentation: theme, places and scenes, characters, and viewpoints, respectively. There are various usages of linguistic devices via the strategies of ecological path presentation, those are, similes, rhetorical questions, word choices, modalities, different sentence structures, and quotations, respectively.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสารัตถะด้านธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ปรากฏในหนังสือเรียนวรรณคดีลำนำ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 และ 2) เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการนำเสนอนิเวศวิถีที่ปรากฏในหนังสือเรียนวรรณคดีลำนำ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 โดยใช้แนวคิดทฤษฎีวรรณกรรมวิจารณ์เชิงนิเวศ รวมถึงแนวคิดองค์ประกอบของวรรณคดีและแนวคิดกลวิธีทางภาษา มาใช้ในการวิเคราะห์สารัตถะด้านธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมและกลวิธีการนำเสนอในหนังสือเรียนวรรณคดีลำนำ

จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า สารัตถะด้านธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมผ่านนิเวศวิถีมี 3 ประเภท ปรากฏมากที่สุดตามลำดับไปถึงปรากฏน้อยที่สุด ดังนี้ คือ ภูมินิเวศ ภูมิธรรมสื่อคำสอน และภูมิปัญญา วัฒนธรรมไทย ส่วนการศึกษากลวิธีการนำเสนอนิเวศวิถีในหนังสือเรียนวรรณคดีลำนำ ระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 พบว่าสารัตถะด้านธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมมีการใช้กลวิธีการนำเสนอนิเวศวิถีด้านองค์ประกอบของวรรณคดี ที่พบมากที่สุดตามลำดับคือ กลวิธีการนำเสนอผ่านแก่นเรื่อง ถัดมาคือ กลวิธีการนำเสนอผ่านสถานที่และฉาก กลวิธีการนำเสนอผ่านตัวละคร และสุดท้ายกลวิธีการนำเสนอผ่านทรรศนะ ส่วนกลวิธีการนำเสนอนิเวศวิถีด้านกลวิธีทางภาษามากที่สุดคือ การใช้ความเปรียบ การใช้คำถามเชิงวาทศิลป์ การเลือกใช้คำศัพท์ การใช้คำแสดงทัศนภาวะ การใช้โครงสร้างประโยคแบบต่าง ๆ และการกล่าวอ้าง
