Development of a Summary Writing Instructional Package Using CIRC Cooperative Learning Technique for Mathayom Suksa 3 Students

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) develop an instructional package for summary writing using CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) cooperative learning technique for Mathayom Suksa 3 Students to meet the Standard Efficiency Criterion of 75/75; 2) determine the effectiveness index of summary writing using the instructional package with CIRC cooperative learning technique students; and 3) examine Mathayom Suksa 3 students' satisfaction toward the summary writing instructional package using CIRC cooperative learning technique. The target group of participants comprised 15 Mathayom Suksa 3 students enrolled in the first semester of the 2024 academic year at Thapho Phakkam Witthaya School, Thung Khao Luang District, Roi Et Province. The research instruments consisted of four sets of summary writing instructional packages incorporating CIRC cooperative learning technique, a summary writing ability test, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. The statistical analyses employed included percentage, mean, standard deviation, efficiency (E₁/E₂), and effectiveness index (E.I.).

The findings revealed that: 1) the summary writing instructional package using CIRC cooperative learning technique achieved an efficiency of 79.5/80.66, exceeding the established criterion of 75/75; 2) the effectiveness index of summary writing using the instructional package with CIRC cooperative learning technique was 0.6040 or 60.40%; and 3) students reported the highest level of satisfaction toward the summary writing instructional package using CIRC cooperative learning technique mean = 4.83, S.D. = 0.21).

การวิจัยเรื่อง การพัฒนาชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความ ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีความมุ่งหมายในการวิจัยคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความ ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน 75/75 2) ศึกษาค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผล การเขียนย่อความโดยใช้ชุดการสอน ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และ 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ที่มีต่อการใช้ชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความ ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนท่าโพธิ์ผักก้ามวิทยา อำเภอทุ่งเขาหลวง จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด จำนวน 15 คน ที่กำลังศึกษาในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2567 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย ชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความ ประกอบจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC จำนวน 4 ชุด แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถ การเขียนย่อความ และแบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) ดัชนีประสิทธิผล (E.I.)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีประสิทธิภาพ 79.5/80.66 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่ตั้งไว้ 2) ดัชนีประสิทธิผลการเขียนย่อความ โดยใช้ชุดการสอน ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.6040 หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 60.40 3) นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้ชุดการสอนการเขียนย่อความ ประกอบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบกลุ่มร่วมมือเทคนิค CIRC โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (mean= 4.83, S.D. = 0.21)
