The Development of Analytical and Critical Reading Ability Using the 7E Teaching Model with Online Lessons Together for Grade 11 Students

Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) develop analytical and critical reading skills using the 7E teaching model combined with an online lesson for Grade 11 students, based on the 80/80 efficiency criterion; and 2) compare students’ analytical and critical reading abilities before and after learning through the 7E teaching model with an online lesson. The sample consisted of 36 Grade 11 students from Kham Khuean Kaeo Chanupatham School, selected using a simple random sampling method. The research tools included seven lesson plans based on the 7E teaching model with online lessons and a multiple-choice analytical and critical reading test with 42 items, having a reliability coefficient of 0.91. Data were analyzed using basic statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and a dependent t-test.

The results revealed that; 1) The ability of analytical and critical reading skills using the 7E instructional model combined with online lessons for Grade 11 students achieved an efficiency (E1/E2) of 81.29/84.17, which followed the established criteria. 2) Students' post-test scores in analytical and critical reading were significantly higher than their pre-test scores at the .05 level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ วิจารณ์โดยใช้รูปแบบการสอน 7E ร่วมกับบทเรียนออนไลน์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ วิจารณ์ของนักเรียนก่อนการจัดการเรียนรู้และหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยรูปแบบการสอน 7E ร่วมกับบทเรียนออนไลน์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/1 โรงเรียนคำเขื่อนแก้วชนูปถัมภ์ ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2567 จำนวน 36 คน ได้มาโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) ด้วยการจับฉลาก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้รูปแบบการสอน 7E ร่วมกับบทเรียนออนไลน์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 7 แผน แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์วิจารณ์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 แบบปรนัยชนิดเลือกตอบ 5 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 42 ข้อ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.91 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพื้นฐาน ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติ ทดสอบค่าที (t-test Dependent Samples)

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏ ดังนี้ 1) ความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ วิจารณ์ โดยใช้รูปแบบการสอน 7E ร่วมกับบทเรียนออนไลน์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 81.29/84.17 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 2) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ วิจารณ์ โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยของผลการทดสอบหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนการจัดการเรียนรู้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
